Our Maths Projects focus on reducing to zero the rate of failure in Mathematics in Africa through various mathematics seminars held in communities and institutions. There has been an over 80% improvement in the performance of tutored students and we will keep spreading our impact to different communities.

- Free Mathematics tutorials for public schools
In 2015/2016 PEEL has embarked on projects focused on reducing the rate of failure in Mathematics in Nigeria by providing an enhanced Mathematics teaching model, by training and improving the teaching skills of Mathematics teachers, by organizing Mathematics lessons for students and engaging them in innovative activities. Over 700 students in the state have benefitted from the free Mathematics tutorials from April 2014 to August 2016.There has been an over 50% improvement in the performance of tutored students in Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination (JAMB), Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) and other indigenous examinations in institutions of learning in 2014 and 2015.A campaign on ‘The Key to Mathematics’ has held in over 35 schools in Rivers State reaching about 22,000 students; thereby dissolving the myth thatMathematics is a difficult subject.
The schools are Federal Government College Rumuokoro, Community secondary school Nkpolu, Uniport International secondary school Mile 3 and Potters Treasure international school Rumuagholu.
Free Mathematics WAEC/JAMB Preparatory Classes in Port Harcourt
October 14th marked a great day on our calendar as PEEL Initiative, in partnership with the Centre for Excellence in Mathematics (CEMATH) Ghana, launched our FREE ‘Maths clinic’ at Community Secondary school Nkpolu with curriculum modified with program Materials from the Wayne State University Math Corps Michigan.
We believe every student can be a Maths Genius and we can transform these kids mathematically. The Maths Clinic holds every Saturday from 9am to 12noon, from the month of October to May 2018, in preparation for WAEC. These tutorial classes take place in Community Secondary School, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo in Port harcourt.
On this note, we call for Volunteer teachers (you don’t have to be too good in Maths), support with textbooks or board markers (some don’t have text books).
