About Founder

Miss Cynthia Adaeze Onwuchuruba is a young Nigerian lady who began volunteering and public speaking at age 17. She is the Founder of Productive Education and Effective Leadership (PEEL) Initiative, a non-profit organization with the mission to empower and provide quality education, to develop leadership potentials and to meet the human needs of youths around the world.

With a first class honors in Mathematics from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Nigeria, she also was the best graduating student from her department in 2013.

…currently a 2016 Carrington Youth Fellow of the United States Consulate Nigeria.

She is the author of ‘Academics Without Tears’, a recipient of the Future Africa Leaders Award (FALA) 2014, a recipient of the Rivers State Honours Award (for her commitment and impact incommunity development in the state), an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth society,  Vice President of National Association of Mathematical Science Students of Nigeria (NAMSSN) 2012/2013 session in her school, a graduate of Total Summer School Paris in 2012, an MTNF scholarship recipient for 3years, 2015 Future Africa Prize in Education nominee and currently a 2016 Carrington Youth Fellow of the United States Consulate Nigeria.

About PEEL Initiative

Productive Education and Effective Leadership (PEEL) Initiative is a registered non-profit organization with the mission to empower and provide quality education, to develop leadership potentials and to meet the human needs of youths around the world.

PEEL Aims at:

  •  reducing to zero, the rate of failure in Mathematics in Africa (known as Maths Afrique)
  • empowering through Education by providing scholarship support for the less privileged and at-risk youths, for youths to learn relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship (known as Epsilon squared)
  • promoting leadership and awarding outstanding leaders (known as Project ‘Find X’)
  • providing infrastructural support for dilapidated schools, to foster capacity building in school teachers,  to promote STEM education and other Sustainable development goals for Quality Education (known as Project Ntughari).

 

PEEL Initiative has successfully embarked on some projects, such as:

Brytespeaks, as he is popularly known, is a graduate of the Physics Department in Benson Idahosa University. Bryte Chinule is an inspirational speaker, minister, business growth development consultant and Quality Management expert.
